Situated Narratives, Textual Techniques, Aesthetic Strategies, Knowledge Practices
The international workshop Situated Narratives. Textual Techniques, Aesthetic Strategies, Knowledge Practices (23–25 April 2026, University of Zurich) examines how narrative forms reflect on their own conditions of production and thereby generate new perspectives on social, cultural, and aesthetic processes. Departing from the premise that literary texts produce knowledge about identity, belonging, power relations, and historical contexts, the workshop develops “situated narrative” as a theoretical and analytical framework from an interdisciplinary perspective.
